too good to be true

Every once in awhile, you run into work that is truly visionary, work that doesn't really "ring a bell" or remind you of anything else you've seen. Faye Toogood (what a last name, huh?) creates work that looks like the images I dream. Do you know what I mean? She's the owner of London-based creative consultancy firm Studio Toogood that does it all. Editorial, interiors, you name it. Faye's studio "disregards convention in favour of something altogether more brave, joyous and impulsive."  Amen sister, amen.

I realized now why I like her work so much - the imaginary world reminds me of my childhood, the days when I was playing theatre with my dolls and created colorful fairy tale scenes with all everyday objects at home...

Wow - these are all fantastic, but I especially love the huge glass pendant light over the blue tablecloth in the second picture.
