Shopper: Lincoln Antique Mall
Every time I have to make the long trek out to O'Hare aiport I pass an intriguing storefront in a rather unassuming neighborhood... with a difference. The glass windows are always chock-full of gorgeous rehabbed antiques and mid-century modern items. This weekend, I decided to actually satiate my curiosity and boy oh boy am I glad I did! If you're a mid-century modern nutter like yours truly, you'll be in seventh heaven... also make sure to keep your eyes peeled for some Tony Duquette-esque displays. Many of the pieces are in need of some paint and upholstery, but I'm always a fan of rehabs anyhow. Some of the items have already been re-done by the staff to glorious effect. In particular, I was a fan of a lovely console lacquered black with a black PVC top studded with nail heads... divine.

I love and need them all. If I ever buy a home, I'm going to send you pics so you can help me decorate it!
How fun! I love the lucite coffee table.
I love it... these are the shops I adore! Full of character, charm and great pieces!
I always see this antique markets items on craigslist - and many of them are amazing - but the prices are very high. How were they in the store? Love the items you took photos of!
