So here I am at the kitchen table, blogging away (why is it that everyone always gravitates to the kitchen?) watching one of my favorite shows, "The Stagers" on HGTV. One of the guys was trying to get a sense of a couch one of his associates was describing, and he asked the best question ever:
"Pretty like a model or pretty like an actress?"
What an awesome analogy for design? It's that I-don't-want-to-touch-it-because-it's-just-too-gorgeous-and-it-might-break versus that's-so-gorgeous-I-want-to-cuddle-up-to-it-and-invite-it-to-lunch.
